Day 1, Departure Johannesburg on BP (Included) for arrival in Maun. Meet & Assistance provided by Orient Express Safaris for Light aircraft transfer to Eagle Island Camp. Arrive at Eagle Island with standard accommodation reserved for 2 nights with meals and activities included. Eagle Island Camp at Xaxaba is probably one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas of the world and the gateway to the wonderful and mysterious Okavango Delta

Day 2, Activities include game viewing by mokoro (traditional dugout canoe), motor boats and walking trails. During times of high flood magnificent sunsets can be enjoyed from the camp’s sunset cruiser or from the raised deck overlooking the lagoon.

Day 3, Light aircraft transfer to Khwai River Lodge where standard accommodation are reserved for 2 nights. Meals and activities included. The Khwai River at Moremi is part of the Okavango's complex delta system and the key point where the river narrows into a stream and disappears into the sand. Shaded by indigenous leadwood and fig trees, the lodge overlooks the lawns and the camp's heated swimming pool. From your private deck you can view elephant, hippo and vast varieties of bird, while from the observation platform, fortunate game watchers can spot waterbuck, crocodile, cheetah and herds of countless antelope and zebra grazing off the veldt. It is also possible to see lion, hyena, wild dog and leopard.

Day 4, Activities includemorning and afternoon game drives or guided walks, after dark spotlight game drives – supervised by expert rangers, bird watching and game flights on request (cost excluded). Accommodation comprises twin bedded luxury tents. Each has a shaded deck facing the Khwai River, en suite facilities, air-conditioning, heating, 24 hour DC lighting and thatched roof.

Day 5, Light aircraft transfer to Maun. Departure BP (included) for a ir transfer to Johannesburg where you complete your Footprints in Southern Africa adventure.
