Daily Activities:

Day 1, Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to the Cellars Hotel s ituated in the heart of the Constantia Valley in Cape Town. The Cellars Hohenort is a haven of peace and tranquility unifying two great traditions, the magnificent restoration of the 18th Century Klaasenbosch wine cellars and the splendid manor house of the Hohenort. S tandard accommodations are reserved on a bed and English breakfast basis for 3 nights. Porterages to the hotel are Included. Check in time is guaranteed from 14h00 onwards. Group E self-drive vehicle delivered to hotel

Day 2 & 3, Clients under own arrangements to enjoy romantic, beautiful, mysterious, Cape Town is a never-ending source of wonder and fascination to both visitor and resident. With its dramatic Table Mountain backdrop, Cape Town is undeniably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It's setting among fertile valleys, coastal plains and rugged mountains provide unlimited creative inspiration to artists, writers and photographers. Popular sights include; Table Mountain, Cape Point, Winelands, Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens, Constantia Winelands and Robben Island

Day 4, Clients under own arrangements to George and the Fancourt Hotel and Country Club where Standard accommodations are reserved on a bed and English breakfast basis for 3 nights. Uniquely located Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate, an elegant golf and leisure resort, is set at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains, in the heart of the Garden Route. Fancourt is a place of tranquillity and style. Hospitality in the Historical Manor House, a National Monument, combines old world values with modern luxuries.

Day 5 & 6, Clients under own arrangements to explore the Garden Route - the name conjures up visions of an area richly endowed by nature, but there is more to the Garden Route than its flora. It is a region of infinitive diversity and contrast, from golden beaches, rocky shorelines, mysterious forests, breathtaking mountains and vast, open plains, all united by an overriding theme of natural beauty

Day 7, Clients under own arrangements to George Airport and terminate self-drive vehicle at airport. Departure SA (Excluded – to be purchased with int’l air ticket) for arrival in Johannesburg. Collect group E self-drive vehicle and proceed, under own arrangements to the Michelangelo Hotel where standard accommodations are reserved on a bed and English breakfast basis for 1 night.

Set in the Renaissance charm of Sandton Square, the entertainment and corporate capital of Africa. The Piccolo Mondo Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. IL’Ritrovo Cocktail Bar and lounge is where you can enjoy cocktails and light meals. In-room dining is available 24-hours a day. The Health and Fitness centre provides for good workouts while the heated, covered indoor pool with grassed sundeck and steam bath, allows for a revitalizing break

Day 8, Clients under own arrangements to Johannesburg Int’l Airport where you terminate your self-drive vehicle at airport. Departure by light/scheduled aircraft (included) for arrival at Jackalberry Lodge where accommodations are reserved for 3 nights. Meals and activities included.

The lodge lies within the Thornybush Game Reserve, one of the region's premier game-viewing areas. The majestic Drakensberg mountains provide a spectacular backdrop for this intimate camp, offering magnificent views, understated comfort and a restful, ethnic ambience that blends harmoniously with nature.

Day 9 The bush around the lodge teems with wildlife for great g ame viewing activities. The lodge offers exciting dawn and dusk safaris from open landrovers with fully qualified rangers and trackers, and bush walks for the more adventurous. An African safari can be a life-changing experience. More than 60 species of animals can be found in the immediate vicinity and lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena and cheetah are all common sights. Also a paradise for birders with more than 280 species recorded.

At the end of the day, a hearty bushveld dinner can be enjoyed at the open boma next to the pool where one can relax by the crackling campfire, listening to the night sounds of Africa as the animals come to drink at the floodlit waterhole.

Day 10 , Air transfer to Johannesburg where you complete your Jewels of South Africa adventure.
