Daily Activities:
Day 1, Arrive Cape Town and transfer to Le Quartier Francais Hotel in Franschhoek where your accommodations are reserved on a bed and English breakfast basis for 2 nights . Porterages to hotel included.
Le Quartier Francais rests in the French Huguenot village of Franschhoek in the heart of the Cape winelands. This privately owned and managed Auberge is in keeping with the spirit of the surrounding area. Each spacious room features generous beds, Egyptian cotton bed linen and comfortable sitting area. Guests may dine at Le Quartier Francais, one of the Top Ten Popular Restaurants in South Africa, which has a fresh approach to Cape Provencale Cuisine
Day 2, at leisure for individual activities to enjoy romantic Franschhoek. The French who settled Franschhoek left behind a rich heritage of arts, architecture and hospitality, all of which survives to this day. The main street is lined with galleries displaying local arts, craftshops and antique shops. At the foot of the pass you will find the Huguenot Memorial and Museum which commemorates the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the Huguenots. The Dutch Reformed Church is a National Monument and is open to the public on request.
Day 3, Full day Winelands tour including two wine tastings. Lunch excluded. Feast your senses in the sumptuous Winelands of the Cape. A dramatic backdrop of craggy mountains and fertile valleys, covered with ever-changing colours of the vineyards, sets the scene for enjoyment and relaxation. Sample the fruit of the vine in every glass of our world-renowned wines, whilst enjoying the culinary delights of regional cuisine. Discover the rich historical and cultural heritage of this area where splendid examples of Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian architecture have been preserved. Your tour terminates at Mount Nelson Hotel where standard accommodation have been reserved on a bed and English breakfast basis for 3 nights. Day 4, a full day Table Mountain and Cape Peninsula tour including a visit to the Boulders Beach penguin colony. Lunch excluded.
The great charm of Cape Town is the magnificent mountain. It rises behind the city and is a sheer precipice to a height of 1 097m (3.566ft) cutting the skyline with a horizontal front three kilometres (almost two miles) in length.
Breathtaking scenery ignites the senses where the chilly waters of the Atlantic in the west meet the warm waters of False Bay in the east. Take the funicular to the old lighthouse overlooking this wild coast. Cape Point Nature Reserve - covers 7 750 unspoiled hectares of the southern most part of the Cape Peninsula.
Day 5, clients under own arrangements for a day at leisure for total enjoyment of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Day 6 , a morning at leisure for individual activities until your departure to the airport and on to Johannesburg where accommodations have been reserved for 1 night on a bed and breakfast basisyou pickup you group E self-drive vehicle. At you leisure, to the luxurious Westcliff Hotel where . Here you can relax in two large, heated swimming pools and two plunge pools, and within the grounds there is also a floodlit tennis court with a resident coach and a gym with a team of personal trainers. As a client of Elite Southern Africa, guests are entitled to one complimentary dinner per person during their stay at the hotel.
Day 7, a morning at leisure for individual activities until your departure to the airport where you terminate your self-drive car and departure by light/scheduled aircraft (included) to Lion Sands Private Game Reserve where accommodation have been reserved for 3 nights, meals and activities included.
Lion Sands Private Game Reserve is situated in the southern portion of the 65,000-hectare Sabi Sand Game Reserve (southern Kruger National Park region), an area well known for its spectacular game viewing of the "Big Five."
Day 8 & 9, game viewing activities at Lion Sands Game Preserve, the only private reserve situated on the perennial sabie river. The activities programme has been developed to enhance the guest's safari experience by enabling the guest to tailor their stay. Activities are all offered in a flexible and convenient environment and are exclusive to Lion Sands guests. They Include Open Land Rover game drives, Bush Breakfasts, Bush Walks, Wildlife Lectures, Picnic lunches, Hippopotamus Tour, Bush Dinners & Astronomy.
