- The "Lord Milner" - the lodge's pub - is the meeting place for pre-dinner drinks. The cosy atmosphere, enhanced by the pub's vibrant burnt orange walls, tends to "capture" guests
for yet another round!
- Sundowners on the wooden deck down at the river are a must for guests wanting to take in some of the abundant bird life together with a breath-taking sunset.
- One of Jatinga's legendary picnic hampers are a must if you are planning a trip into the nearby Kruger National Park or a day trip to take in some of the sights in the area.
- The same applies if you are planning an evening out at The Barnyard Theatre where you are encouraged to take a hamper along and enjoy dinner in the festive atmosphere prior to the show beginning.
