The sitting room is the centerpiece of this luxurious villa. This gracious room, beautifully proportioned with its double volume, gigantic fireplace, inviting sofa's, sensitive mixture of antiques and beautiful objects shows very little of the old fruit packing shed it originally used to be!

The main suite occupies the top floor of one of the wings. Passing through a handsome study one enters the bedroom which is beautifully appointed in a colourful oriental /colonial style with bed linen by Ralph Lauren.

Past the twin dressing rooms, a spacious and lifht-filled bathroom beckons - replete with a lovely Victorian bath and an airy shower - lit by a Chrystal chandelier and mirrored wall sconces. Two ba1conies, one facing the sheltered courtyard, the other a tranquil valley, offer retreats for quiet moments.

Bedroom Two is decorated in the French-colonial style, with a queen size four-poster bed, this room displays soft lines of blue and white. It gives onto the courtyard and large windows offer views on three sides over the mountains, the estate and the valley. The bathroom offers a bath-with-a view, an open shower and twin basins.

An oriental feeling pervades bedroom three. Sumptuous textiles cover the queen size bed, which is subtly screened from the bathroom. The only sunken bath in the house, it invites tranquil, candle-lit and fragrant bathing! This room also opens onto the courtyard and the beautiful views suit the peaceful interior.

Gently hued in pink and white and French styled, bedroom four offers a double bed. Through the large window one looks up at the majestic mountains and sitting, reading in the fantenille at the double doors, one enjoys the courtyard and swimming pool scene. Twin basins, a bath and separate shower make up the elegant bathroom.

Bedroom five has a uniquely handsome character: a pair of antique oak twin lits-bateau and two Chinese ancestral portrait scrolls creates a more formal atmosphere. Complimented by an equally well-designed bathroom with twin basins, bath and shower this room is ideal for sharing.
